A Day at Akasha
Personalized Learning with Expert Tutors for Every Student
Students receive small group and individualized instruction in all subject areas. One of our learning coaches, Kats, focuses on our students 6th grade-9th grade in all subject areas. Rosemary is dedicated to assisting high school and college students with classes in all subject areas. Our newest member of the Akasha team, Joe, specializes in American history, Civics, and World history, and works with all of our students to ensure standardized comprehension. Students that are enrolled in a Spanish class are provided private lessons with our Spanish tutor, Sonia, on a weekly or bi-weekly schedule.
What does each day look like at Akasha Academics?
Monday – Motivational Monday – TED talk/motivational speakers/goal setting. Tuesday – Time Management Tuesday – organization and planning. Wednesday – Awareness Wednesday – what’s going on in the news. Thursday – Transactional Thursdays – Finance lessons.
